Individuals or institutional programs
which have met NILD's Program of Excellence standards are noted with **
by the program’s name or private practice therapist's name.
What is a Program of Excellence?
NILD grants recognition to exceptional individuals or institutional
programs only after extensive evaluation of the program's efficiency and
effectiveness. By reaching benchmarks and standards in areas of
organization, the instructional program, educational therapist
preparation and proficiency, testing/evaluations, facilities, and
materials as set forth by NILD, a program demonstrates its commitment to
excellent educational services for the students enrolled and their
families. Recognition as an NILD Program of Excellence certifies that
the NILD Educational Therapy® program has met these standards and that
the NILD Educational Therapy® services being offered meet the stringent
standards set by NILD.

In Part
I, Margo shared with us as a parent of children with learning
disabilities the importance of setting boundaries with your child,
being consistent in Rhythmic Writing, building self-esteem in your
child, and checking your attitude toward your child. Part II, the conclusion of her article,
provides parents with more counsel in working with their child to
maximize and produce lasting results in their quest for learning
wholeness.
